It’s been awhile since I have updated on our two litters of kittens.  Caring for ten kittens with calicivirus plus caring for our large family (human, feline and avian) has been all consuming lately.

We unexpectedly lost our kitty, Willow, just before Thanksgiving.  Willow was one of the kindest, gentlest kitties I have ever been blessed with.  Her sweet face and loving purrsonality is greatly missed.

All of the kittens have recovered from calicivirus, for the most part.  They will have episodes of fever, kitty colds or upper respiratory infections throughout their lives because of exposure to this virus.

Currently, little Shannon (seen in the photo below) has a kitty cold: she has a stuffy nose and is sneezing.  She is getting plenty of rest, good food and immune support.

Wanda, Natasha and Thor were cleared for vaccines and received their first round this past Wednesday.  They will get their boosters and microchips when they are spayed and neutered in January.

Danny boy, Finnegan, Hozier, Liam, Paddy, Seamus and Shannon will get their first round of vaccines and microchips this Wednesday.  All will get their boosters in January.  Hozier and Liam will be neutered in April; Danny boy, Finnegan and Paddy will be neutered in May and the girls will be spayed in March.

Thank you for your continued support.  It means the world to me and these kittens! To donate toward their vaccine costs or toward their spay and neuter surgeries please click here.
