Are you bonded and insured?
Ruffly Purrfect Pet Services and all of our staff are covered by our bonding and insurance policies to the maximum levels available.
RPPS and all of our staff are covered by our bonding and insurance policies through Business Insurers of the Carolinas.
Do you have references?
How am I billed, and when is it due?
We accept cash, checks, Paypal, Venmo, and Zelle. Please refer to our policies for a more detailed explanation by clicking here.
Do you administer medication to pets?
How do I become a Purrfect member?
To sign up, please click here and fill out all necessary information about you, your pet(s), and your home, and we will call you usually within 24 hours to schedule an initial in-home “meet and greet”.
How do you know your pet sitter is a trustworthy professional?
As a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, NAPPS, since 2003, RPPS takes petsitting seriously. Our foremost priority is the safety and security of our clients, their pets and their property. For the most part, our pet sitters are trusted friends and family. Our applicants undergo an extensive screening process, including reference checks and background history checks.
How does your Pet Sitter get access to my home?
How long is each visit?
Is the information I provide Ruffly Purrfect Pet Services kept confidential?
Yes! We do not disclose client information of any kind to third parties. All client information is protected by RPPS and accessed/utilized only in such a manner as to be able to fulfill our assignment obligations.
May I give my Pet Sitter a gratuity?
Absolutely. You may give gratuities directly to your Pet Sitter, or if you prefer you may pay it through the company. 100% of gratuities go directly to the designated Pet Sitter.
What does the initial “meet and greet” involve?
When you sign up with RPPS, we will schedule a pet sitter to come to your home for an initial “meet and greet” — to meet your pet, become familiar with your home/routine, and discuss all pertinent information about your pet’s needs.
What if my property or pet is damaged while I am gone?
Ruffly Purrfect Pet Services agrees to provide the services stated in our service agreement in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. R.P.P.S. is only liable for claims arising from negligence or willful misconduct. Due to the extreme unpredictability of animals, we cannot accept responsibility for unusual mishaps (i.e., biting, furniture damage, etc.). Also, if your pets have access to the outside, we are not responsible for injury, disappearance, or fines.
